Thierry Bessard often talks about the power of fate, or rather about one fateful moment when his life was determined. After medical school, Thierry wanted to do research. I came across an article about the French perfumery school ISIPCA. He immediately wanted to pursue such a career - science and creativity tempted him equally. Ironically, or perhaps coincidentally, his grandmother later told him that his grandfather was also a perfumer. Thierry inherited a collection of recipes from his grandfather. As for his career, Thierry is above all a humble man. He considers his career to be "more of a hobby than a job." When asked what he does, he often says he's a chemist to avoid too much attention.
